Refuting Balfour's Detractors
Setting the record straight about Balfour's continuing validity and relevance for our time.
On November 29, Professor Andrew Roberts participated in a symposium on the centenary of the Balfour Declaration and the attempts to renounce it promoted by groups in UK and elsewhere. The event was jointly organized by the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs and the Henry Jackson Society at the House of Commons in London.
Other speakers in the symposium were Ambassador Dore Gold, Ambassador Alan Baker, and Dr. Yair Hirshfeld. The event ended with concluding remarks from former UK Justice Minister Michael Gove.
